Sam Mussari
Bio: My name is Sam Mussari, and I’m a seasoned editor, filmmaker, and producer. Over the last two decades, I’ve had the privilege of crafting and cutting some of the biggest shows on TV – from dating shows to competition shows to docu-series and everything in-between.
Originally from Niagara Falls, NY, I inherited my love of filmmaking from my Father (also Sam), our family’s personal videographer and historian, who documented every family moment (whether big or small) with his super-8 camera; instilling that same passion for capturing the art and magic of people via film in me – a passion I still honor and carry to this day.

Out of high school, I enlisted in the United States Military, and I continued my passionate pursuit for filmmaking throughout my time served. While studying at SUNY Niagara College, Imajored in Media Arts and Communications, and while there I made dozens of films (even acting in several theatrical roles), along with building and designing sets and lighting treatments, etc.

During my summers off, I worked at the local amphitheater as a stagehand – hanging lights, pulling cables, and packing trucks for rock bands like Van Halen, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Tina Turner, Sting, Grateful Dead along with many other high profile artists.
After completing my Bachelor's Degree at Columbia College - Hollywood, I was introduced to a successful, longtime Film and TV Editor who said, “Kid, you got a natural eye for the art of storytelling, and someone who understands the importance of the correct pacing, timing, and rhythm have on that”. Not long after, I was offered an apprentice role at his company.
From that day forward, the doors began to open and I would soon find myself working for over two decades in a job that I love. Since then, I’ve gone on to work for dozens of major networks and streamers like ABC, NBC, CBS, MTV, Discovery, Food Network, and Netflix (just to name a few), helping to edit and produce some of the most memorable and successful shows on TV.
And I still have that same joy I first had as a kid, a joy that my Dad and I both shared, so ‘thanks Dad, for helping me discover my passion. You are my true superhero!’
